Dirt and Mosquitoes

We went camping up to Henry's Fork in July and as soon as we stepped out of the car it was gross...mosquitoes were everywhere! The only place we found relief was in our tent, by the campfire or riding on the 4-wheeler. With camping comes the dirt and the kids had a blast kicking it up with the 4-wheelers.Here is Jayden's face... full of mosquito bites. She had bites everywhere, even on her bottom from when she went to the bathroom. We wore hoodies and long sleeve shirts the whole time, even if we were hot.
Carter and Briggs played non-stop. They loved to play with the guns. Briggs had a great stance...spread em! They never stopped.
Briggs decided that Colten was speeding and went and took care of business.
He got him off the 4-wheeler...stick 'em up.
Clint started out loving the cool temperatures and wore shorts and a t-shirt all night the first night. The second night...not so good. He had a fever and a sick stomach the rest of the trip. The picture below shows how Clint spent most of his time on the trail. He came home and still was not 100% so he went to the doctor. He actually had an infection called Campyolacterosis. Luckily, it was not contagious so no one else got sick. He was a trooper and a pooper on the vacation.

Jayden riding in the mud! She loves to ride and get dirty.
She is a good little rider. We had great food on the trip. It was fun to sit around and enjoy each other in the mornings because the mosquitoes were not so bad. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Corky loved being with their kids and grand kids.
Jason and Karen making us some great pan -a- cakes! Yummy!
Cute and dirty family! We enjoyed our nights by the camp fire. The mosquitoes did not like the smoke. My dad and I both sporting our Weber High and Valley Bulldog hats...we love working for the school district!
The kids had fun taking pictures of funny faces around the campfire.
