Dirt and Mosquitoes

We went camping up to Henry's Fork in July and as soon as we stepped out of the car it was gross...mosquitoes were everywhere! The only place we found relief was in our tent, by the campfire or riding on the 4-wheeler. With camping comes the dirt and the kids had a blast kicking it up with the 4-wheelers.Here is Jayden's face... full of mosquito bites. She had bites everywhere, even on her bottom from when she went to the bathroom. We wore hoodies and long sleeve shirts the whole time, even if we were hot.
Carter and Briggs played non-stop. They loved to play with the guns. Briggs had a great stance...spread em! They never stopped.
Briggs decided that Colten was speeding and went and took care of business.
He got him off the 4-wheeler...stick 'em up.
Clint started out loving the cool temperatures and wore shorts and a t-shirt all night the first night. The second night...not so good. He had a fever and a sick stomach the rest of the trip. The picture below shows how Clint spent most of his time on the trail. He came home and still was not 100% so he went to the doctor. He actually had an infection called Campyolacterosis. Luckily, it was not contagious so no one else got sick. He was a trooper and a pooper on the vacation.

Jayden riding in the mud! She loves to ride and get dirty.
She is a good little rider. We had great food on the trip. It was fun to sit around and enjoy each other in the mornings because the mosquitoes were not so bad. Grandma Carol and Grandpa Corky loved being with their kids and grand kids.
Jason and Karen making us some great pan -a- cakes! Yummy!
Cute and dirty family! We enjoyed our nights by the camp fire. The mosquitoes did not like the smoke. My dad and I both sporting our Weber High and Valley Bulldog hats...we love working for the school district!
The kids had fun taking pictures of funny faces around the campfire.

Happy Day Hadley

Happy Day Hadley
~ 13 ~
Another teenager in the house and even more hormones. Girls are a bit moody and Clint's patience is tried daily with all of us. Luckily, he has Briggs now to get an out with.

Jayden and Colten loving spending time together and waiting to eat cake!
Carter and Briggs were outside playing when a bee stung Carter right on the lip. His lip kept getting fatter and fatter until Amber was able to get him to take some allergy medicine.
Hadley had two birthday celebrations.
Briggs enjoyed the frosting and some of the cake.
Jayden and Harper smiling for me so they could begin eating their cake!
Hadley got a soccer ball, itouch, a Taylor Swift CD and other fun things for her birthday.
Grandma Kathy made her this yummy and beautiful cake.

~Baptism Day for Jayden~

Jayden was baptized on June 20th by her dad. She had to be dunked twice because her hair floated on the water the first time....why did I not think about pulling her hair up before she was baptized?? Clint did a great job making sure her toes and dress stayed under, we didn't think it would be her hair that would cause the problem. Everything turned out perfect and it was a great day!
~ ~ ~
She was very happy and loved having everyone there with her. Aunt Whitney is her favorite, so she was the lucky one to give the talk on baptism. Thanks to everyone who helped make this day special. We love our family and friends!
Great Grandma Georgia gave Jayden her first journal, just like she gave me my first journal.
Aunt Whit and Jayden
The great-grandparents were troopers and came up for the day. It would not have been complete without them there.

GRANDPARENTS ARE THE BEST!!
Our family together for a picture together. Hadley was out of her dress immediately and Briggs was not happy about having his picture taken another time. He was not in the mood and wanted back out on the tramp with his cousins.
It is that time of cute smiles...no front teeth. Jayden didn't get those for her 8th birthday, so hopefully she will get those for Christmas. I can't believe my Jayden is 8. She is growing up so much and we love her!

~ *Happy Birthday Clint* ~

Clint celebrated his 39th birthday this year! He is in great shape and looks good, but he is still dreading the next BIG ONE, 40! We celebrated with our friends on Friday night by hitting one of our favorite restaurants, the Mandarin. On Sunday, his family came for a visit. We had quiche, strawberry waffles and fruit for brunch. He got some new luggage for our cruise and also he gets to go shopping at Home Depot. The kids had a great time playing with Harper. We loved visiting with Trent and Aynie! I am very blessed to have such a caring and loving husband, friend, and father . . . thanks to these two people.
Clint opened some more presents when everyone left. When Clint asked Briggs a few days before his birthday what he was getting him for his birthday, Briggs replied "A hat!" So of course he got a new hat from Briggs and some running clothes and music from the girls. Clint also has some shopping to do on his own with some money he received.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
WE LOVE YOU!
Briggs helped dad blow out the candles this year...good thing because Clint didn't get them all out his first try. He also stole a few tastes of the frosting before we were able to get it served. Our neighbors came up to help us celebrate with ice cream and cake. It was a nice and relaxing day!

~ More Easter Fun ~

On Easter we got to go spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Warner! We had a delicious dinner and then the kids got to go on their last Easter Egg hunt. There were eggs everywhere!Grandpa was all smiles hiding the eggs and watching his grandchildren race to find them.
The kids couldn't wait! Jayden found many eggs and her bag couldn't hold many more!
Cameron and Hadley are getting older and were very selective about which eggs they were going to take. They wanted the money and best candy!
Thanks Grandma Carol and Grandpa Corky for the great day and fun Easter hunt!
