4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July by going to the parade in Huntsville. Clint and I had a booth for our small business, Earbudz. The kids enjoyed being with Grandma Angie and Grandpa Fez. They did all the fun activities at the park and then went to have lunch at grandma's house with family and friends.
That night we gathered around the fire and roasted marshmallows. Grandma and grandpa worked hard on their new fire pit to make it safe for the grandchildren. It was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed the sparklers and the fireworks at the park. My kids favorite part of the day was seeing fireflies in grandma's backyard. They chased them around all night.

Jayden's Hannah Montana Birthday Party

We even had Hannah Montana come to the party - just kidding- Briggs can be funny sometimes. He loved the wig Jayden got from Hayden.
Jayden's Birthday Cake
We love Hannah Montana things at our house.

We played pin the lips on Hannah Montana, Guess What's Missing, Musical Microphone, Painted Fingernails, and had cake and ice cream. Each girl got to take home Jayden's favorite Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus mix.

I am truly blessed to have such a great family. I love being with all of them. We missed Uncle Zach , he was in California working. We also missed Haley, Casey, Avery and Owen. We love them and can't wait to see them.

Jayden's 7th Birthday & Father's Day

We went up to Park City to spend time with our family for Father's Day and Jayden and Harper's Birthdays. We had a wonderful time spending time together. Alix was able to make the drive up and stay for a few hours with us. Kathy went out of her way to make their day very special, thank you. We loved spending time with them. Clint went snowmobiling with the his dad and brother on Father's Day. He had a fun time with them. The girls were happy when they came home safe and sound. Clint opening up one of his presents - Wii Smash Brothers. For Father's Day this year he got a new weed eater and some new shirts. I have to say, his favorite thing was snowmobiling.

Great Grandma Phyllis and Alix

We spent the evening 4-wheeling, eating, and spending time with one another. Hadley
Harper and Trent doing a wheelie. Harper was great on his 4-wheeler. They were too fast for me to catch a great picture.

Grandma made Jayden a pink barbie cake. Briggs was right there ready to help her with the candle and frosting.

Jayden was born on June 15th and so was her cousin Harper. Jayden enjoys spending time with him and sharing her birthday. She also shared her birthday with her dad for Father's Day.

Jayden on her 7th birthday at the park.
She is all smiles and looks beautiful.

This was Jayden finally opening her last present. She had to wait for her dad to get home from snowmobiling to open it. This is something Jayden has wanted for a long time and I had a hard time with it. I can't believe I gave in, but yes, we have a kitten. This kitten is going to grow up and chase mice. We have a large field behind us and I hope it will catch many and keep them away from my house. Jayden had to wait for 3 weeks until the kitten was old enough to come to our house. The kitten arrived yesterday and she is very happy.

Alix's Prom 2008

Meet my Alix.
She is my angel. She is a teenager now.
So as you can see in our pictures, she is very busy and never has time to be with our family. She works at Alpine Pizza and teaches swim lessons. She loves to spend time with her friends and Spencer. She is playing soccer on a Valley co-ed team. These are some of my favorite pictures of her getting ready for her first prom. She had many people there with her to help her get ready. My family had just been snowmobiling and everyone came to our house after. This made her a little uneasy, too many people. Luckily, most of them left before Spencer arrived. She looked beautiful. It is hard to see my little girl grow up.

Aunt Whitney saved the day and got there in time to do her make-up. Whit and Lix are great friends and love hang out together.
Ohh, Alix's Uncle Tay.

She never can get away from this kid.

They are like brother and sister, only 7 months apart. We had to work really hard

to get this flower on.

LAGOON

We went to Lagoon on our Stake Lagoon Day and my sister, Missy and her family came with us. We had a great time, even though it was a cold and busy day. The pictures above are on the large Ferris Wheel. It was not my favorite ride, buy my family enjoyed the heights and spinning round and round.
This was on of Briggs favorite rides. He loved it so much the first time, he chased his car crying after they took him off. Missy and I were very lucky to have our two husbands, Scott and Clint, there with us. They were very helpful with the little ones.
This was a fun ride for Briggs and Carter. Briggs loved cruising along and driving. Carter enjoyed the ride and rang the bell. They are cute cousins and enjoyed the day together.
Bulgy the Whale ended up to be a ride Carter and Briggs ended up on a lot. Carter and Briggs would ride this, while Jayden and Colton would go on the Lady Bug Drop.
Missy and I had a great time on the Tilt-A-Whirl. We laughed so hard our cheeks hurt after. Hadley, Colton, Jayden and Hunter also had fun and laughed with us.

Jayden and Hadley had to go on the Merry-go-Round with Briggs. They had fun watching Briggs face. He didn't want to get off. Jayden had fun, but was able to try new ride this year. She loved the Spider, the Bat, the Tidal Wave (top row with her arms up), and the Wild Mouse. She wants to go back so she can ride more of the fast and scary rides. Missy and Katrina actually survived Wicked. We were really nervous, but we enjoyed it once it was over.

This ride is always a hit. It is hidden in the corner near Puff. There was never a long line and the kids rode it over and over. Carter loved the Elephant. He wanted to ride that each time. Briggs didn't care which one, as long as it went up and down.
